Carolyn studied Illustration at Bath, graduating in 2000, she has lived in and around the city ever since.  She has worked professionally as in-house artist for two greetings card publishers, Meri Meri in Cheltenham, and Senior Artist at Ling Design in Bath for over 10 years. 

Now a freelance artist she has continued to produce high-quality original artwork for commissions as well as solo and group exhibitions, previously selling work at The Rostra Gallery in Bath and The Gallery on the Square in, St. Ives, she currently has work in Imagianation Gallery in Bath and St. Ives, and is also represented by Wychwood Art.

She enjoys working in a variety of media, mainly using watercolour and acrylic. Rich in colour and light, her paintings are often inspired by fables and narratives. Her recent work explores images of birds, the fascinating character of these tiny creatures who inhabit the space between the earth and heavens provide endless inspiration!
